Terri Allred, MTS
Founder, Holistic Leadership Academy
She/Her
Terri Allred is a dynamic and experienced consultant, leadership development expert, and catalyst for team transformation. With a passion for helping nonprofit and business leaders unlock the full potential of their teams, Terri brings a unique blend of skills and expertise to drive impactful change. She is passionate about helping purpose-driven women leaders succeed at work without sacrificing their wellbeing and does so through her Holistic Leadership Academy.
Her work is trauma-sensitive in both theoretical approach and interactions with people and organizations. She brings her extensive experience working in the sexual and domestic violence field to all of her interactions. She uses an asset-based approach respecting and valuing each person’s strengths, competencies and gifts. She believes in the capacity for healing and resiliency inherent in each person and that growth occurs in relationship. She strives to maintain curiosity in communication to learn, grow and form deeper relationships. She celebrates the diversity of human experience recognizing that we all come from unique backgrounds, perspectives and life experiences.
Terri is a certified Spiritual Coach, Enneagram Facilitator, Reiki Master, Restorative Justice Facilitator, Life Coach and Hypnotherapist. Terri is also a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner, Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner, and HeartMath Institute Trauma Certified Practitioner.
When Terri isn't working, you can find her looking for seashells with her family, creating pottery or snuggling with her dogs at home.

Lisa Allred, MSW, LCSW
Co-Founder, Holistic Leadership Academy
She/Her
Lisa started advocating for survivors of violence in college when she founded an Acquaintance Rape Education Program that was incorporated into orientation for all first-year students at Wake Forest University. This led her to working as a crisis therapist for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence and to spearheading movements in NC to change laws on marital rape and stalking.
After getting her LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), she became the Clinical Director for a sexual abuse evaluation program at WFU School of Medicine in Child Psychiatry. After another decade as a clinician and trainer, she switched gears and went into nonprofit management, specializing in program evaluation and development, grant writing and clinical supervision.
To round out her experience, she has spent 25 years providing trainings for therapists, nonprofit leaders, and graduate students at UNC-CH and NCSU. Her training specialties include communication and conflict, stress management (in 10 minutes or less), creating trauma-informed workplaces, motivation, and child development, program evaluation, grant-writing, and clinical practice.
She loves to help organizations and people become more focused and effective by improving their systems and motivating their staff.
When Lisa isn’t working, you an find her teaching bellydance, spinning fire, photographing weddings, hiking or knitting.

Mojo, the king of cozy naps, is a seasoned expert in the art of relaxation, bringing his "snuggle until you can’t anymore" philosophy to the Academy. With his gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to afternoon snoozes, he teaches leaders how to embrace downtime like a pro.
Phoebe, the master of mindfulness (and squirrel-watching), reminds us all to stay present in the moment—unless there’s a snack involved, in which case it's full throttle!
Together, they embody the essence of balancing work with serious rest and play.
Devon Pipars
She/Her
Devon Pipars is a teacher and blogger for withinmeditation.com, who also works with companies via wellness workshops, meditation sessions, and mindful communication coaching. She is a featured voice for Hyperice’s meditation training device Core, as well as a senior instructor on the Core app (hellocore.com). A library of her guided meditations can be found here.
Meditation is Devon’s passion and purpose. A meditator since 2002, the practice has been deeply transformative for her. After devoting four years to the study and practice of meditation under the guidance of a master teacher in the Indian Himalayas, Devon’s sessions incorporate multiple traditions and techniques including mindfulness, breath work, mantra, gratitude practice & loving kindness.
Devon is masterful at translating all she’s learned into simple terms, making her classes appropriate for first-time meditators as well as experts. No matter what your experience level, her approach effectively reduces stress and promotes well-being.
Dreya Bloom, LCSW
She/Her
Dreya Blume is a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, business coach, author and educator. Dreya began working in the mental health field in 2004 in southwest Virginia, where she spent almost two decades serving the local transgender community as a gender therapist.
She recently moved to Durham, NC, where she focuses on offering continuing education trainings to therapists, facilitating retreats, and providing coaching for private-practice clinicians seeking to expand their business in unique ways.
Dreya loves to write, and is the author of a number of books, including “The Tarot Activity Book: A Collection of Creative and Therapeutic Ideas for the Cards,” “Journaling the Tarot,” “Everyone has a Story: Using the Hero’s Journey and Narrative Therapy to Reframe the Struggle of Mental Illness,” and “Tarot for Transformation: Using the Major Arcana to Discover Your Best Self and Create a Life Worth Living” (all under her former name, Andy Matzner).
Dreya is also passionate about teaching. Prior to becoming a mental health clinician, she spent many years teaching English as a Second Language in places such as Japan, Australia, Thailand and Hawaii. Once in Virginia, Dreya worked as an adjunct professor for almost twenty years at Hollins University, teaching gender studies and sociology in their Master of Liberal Studies program. In addition, she spent twelve years teaching future social workers in the human services program at Virginia Western Community College.

Michelle Gugelmeyer

Michelle Gugelmeyer has been working as a spiritual leader, multi-dimensional energy healer & bodyworker, yoga & somatic movement instructor, psychic/medium, ethical tarot professional, artist and entrepreneur for over 25 years.
She is also a best selling co-author of the book, Silenced No More.
Her mission is to provide support and empowerment for individuals who are seeking spiritual awakening as they break free from old patterning and stagnation, ready to leave their comfort zone.
Michelle offers hands-on healing energy sessions, readings, workshops, transformational mentorship and coaching targeted towards individuals, small business owners and entrepreneurs seeking to deepen their connection to their intuitive channels in order to transform their lives, their businesses and the lives of others.
She works with individuals and businesses in Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Michelle considers herself a lifelong student of life’s mysteries. She lives in Moline, IL with her daughter who is finishing up University and her tortie, Eve, feline familiar.
Susan Carter
She/Her
Susan is passionate about the journey to wholeness, transforming workplaces through conscious leadership, and creating healing environments.
She is the administrative director at a healthcare organization where she has participated in shared strategic leadership and overseen operations since 2009.
Her previous professional experiences include coordinator for the Middle Tennessee Infant Mortality Reduction Initiative, development officer in major gift development at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and program manager at the Nashville Child Advocacy Center.
She enjoys the ocean, time with friends, reading, live music and theater. She a certified Reiki Master and Spiritual Director.
Susan is committed to helping bring forth a world that works for everyone; in which each can explore and express their true nature without fear of judgment, violence, or alienation, within the context of loving-kindness and doing no harm. She believes that this can be achieved through cultivating wholeness and fostering connection and true belonging.
Peggy Paul
She/Her
Something Peggy hears a lot is “I love your energy”. Whether she is presenting on how to start a business, the importance of health screenings, or developing your inner-self, her energy shines through.
Peggy has an accomplished reputation for start-ups, expansions, and organizations in need of change. Through her career, she raised millions of dollars for charities and inspired thousands to volunteer and give back to their communities.
Having worked for two national health organizations, Peggy is passionate about educating others on disease prevention, early-detection and lifesaving screenings for cancer and heart disease. She has received numerous national and local awards for her work in the corporate and nonprofit sectors.
Peggy is the Founder of SheTaxi, a sisterhood of women focused on their inner selves and overall well-being. She also works for the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF) as the Director of Entrepreneurship, promoting and supporting start-ups and small businesses.
As a lifelong learner and social explorer, Peggy is committed to teaching and cheering others on. She is passionate about living authentically and moving women forward. Peggy inspires others by sharing her experiences, knowledge and lessons learned (and she has learned a lot of them!).

Tawonda Burks

Tawonda serves as Director of Operations at Rochester Area Economic Development, Inc (RAEDI), reinforcing her leadership and expertise in operations and small business ownership.
Tawonda, a passionate entrepreneur and leader of ELOCINA has been enhancing small businesses with management, consulting and educational services since 2012.
She’s academically accomplished with a BS in Business Administration, an MBA, and is advancing her education with a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership.
Her dedication to community and professional development is strong through her active board memberships and commitment to continuous learning. By tapping into networking, she stays connected to business trends, nurturing a supportive environment for entrepreneurs and strengthening the entrepreneurial community.
Her personal mission is to spread financial literacy, empowering individuals with knowledge to make informed economic decisions. Tawonda is also the owner of the Minority Owned Business Network and Rochester Womens Magazine.
